Hi everyone,

It’s my pleasure to introduce to you Fonzi, a 12 year old Cavalier from the Shire :). Fonzi is living the good life which consists of snoozing on the couch, chasing and barking at birds and lizards, walkies with his humans around the neighbourhood, car rides, several cupboard treats per day and back scratches at night are a must!

Kathrine first contacted me mid February wanting to book a mini session for her and Mr handsome pants Fonzi.

On the day of our photoshoot, the sun kept trying to break through the clouds, by 3pm the weather completely deteriorated so we made a decision to reschedule for later in the week. Luckily on our second attempt we got a beautiful sunny and warm day 🙂 All the plants and trees had plenty to drink and everything was so much greener and vibrant, a perfect day for a shoot!

Our main goal was to capture some beautiful photos of Fonzi being his happy, healthy and cheeky self as well as some beautiful photos of them together.

When I met Fonzi, he was very cautious to take a treat from me until his mum showed him that it’s OK and I am a friend – which I found quite impressive! Fonzi being allergic to most foods can only eat chicken based treats, but they don’t call me “the chicken lady” for nothing 🙂 At least for that hour, I’d like to think I was his favourite person 🙂

Fonzi is completely deaf and it took me a while to stop trying to call him with my voice. For at least the first 30 minutes I couldn’t help myself but kept telling him what a good boy he is 😀 He was a little champion throughout, so placid and a good boy always making sure mum is close by. He was quite happy to be where ever we were, content to be hanging out with his human and occasionally being fed some delicious chicken for being such a poser 🙂
